Krishnamurari Neupane elected as the President of Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Krishnamurari Neupane has been elected as the president of the Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Neupane was elected unopposed as the president at the 38th annual general meeting and convention of the association held last Friday and Saturday. The convention elected a 24-member working committee including Neupane.

Rajendra Prasad Prajapati has been elected as the senior vice-president of the association. Dinesh Gosai has been elected as the vice-president for ordinary members, Bishwaram Duwal as the vice-president for substantive members, and Ganeshhari Prajapati as the vice-president for associates.

Similarly, Rukesh Ranjit has been elected as the general secretary. He defeated Navin Prajapati. Gautam Sujakhu has been elected as the secretary and Ranjit Marikhu has been elected as the treasurer.

Anil Shivakoti, Amar Bahadur Manandhar, Rishikesh Shrestha, Ganesh Bhakta Gosai, Narayan Prasad Bhusal, Mahesh Kumar Sharma, Rajesh Twanabasu, Radhakrishna Sapkota, Santosh Kumar Mishra, Surendra Prajapati, and Shyam Prasad Manandhar have been elected as the working committee members.

Manju Subedi and Saraswati Karki have been elected as working committee members for women and Kritan Awal as working committee member for the substantive category. Bijon Twanabasu and Shishir Kisi have been elected as working committee members for the associate category.

Except for the general secretary and associate working committee members, other office bearers and working committee members were elected unopposed, informed the Election Committee Coordinator and Chief Election Officer Gajendra Shankar Timila.

Certificates were distributed to the newly elected working committee office bearers and working committee members of the association on Saturday. Chief Election Officer Timila administered the oath to the newly elected office bearers and working committee members.
