The names of 15 aspirants from UML in Chitwan-2 and 6 in Chitwan-3 have been recommended to the district committee to contest the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.
In Chitwan-2, the name of Krishna Bhakta Pokharel, who won the 2070 Constituent Assembly member election and the 2074 House of Representatives election and was defeated in the 2079 election, is also included.
Along with Pokharel, Vijay Subedi, who won the Bagmati Provincial Assembly in 2074 and resigned in the 2079 local election to become the mayoral candidate of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Devi Prasad Gyawali, who was the mayoral candidate of Bharatpur in the 2074 local election, poultry entrepreneur Dr. Tilchandra Bhattarai, and Bagmati Provincial Assembly member Krishna Silwal have been recommended.
