There are 347 voters in Bagmati Province, including 110 Provincial Assembly members, 119 local level chairmen and vice-chairmen, and 237 mayors and deputy mayors, for the National Assembly member elections. In the voter list made public by the Office of the Election Officer, Hetauda, Nagarjuna Municipality Mayor Mohan Bahadur Basnet will not be able to vote due to his suspension in a corruption case.
The term of office of 19 members of the National Assembly is about to end on the upcoming Falgun. One of the vacant positions will be nominated by the President on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal, and elections will be held for 18 people.

The Congress has 37 seats in the Bagmati Provincial Assembly, while the local level has 107 seats for chiefs and deputy chiefs.
