Chitwan Medical College (CMC) has organized the first Cardiology Conference in Bharatpur to discuss and exchange experiences on various topics in the field of heart disease treatment. The program will consist of four sessions to discuss various aspects of heart disease treatment.

Dr. Bhagwan Koirala, a doctor who has made a special mark in the field of heart disease treatment, inaugurated the workshop on Saturday.

Prof. Dr. Shyamraj Regmi, Head of the Cardiology Department of CMC Teaching Hospital, said that the workshop was organized because technology and treatment methods are emerging very quickly in the world in heart disease treatment, and doctors need to be aware of these topics. He said that five disciplines in the field of heart treatment will be discussed in the sessions. He said that 350 people, including doctors, nurses, medical students and technicians working in the field of heart disease treatment in hospitals in Kathmandu, Chitwan and nearby, participated in it.

The program chairman, CMC Chairman and Managing Director, Prof. Dr. Harishchandra Neupane, said that CSC Teaching Hospital has been organizing such programs to hear about its efforts and the practices of others. He said that providing experience and guidance will help improve treatment services and teaching methods.
