8,550 new voters have been added to Dolakha in the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21. In 2079 BS, there were 161,750 voters, but this has now increased to 170,030.

Bishal KC, Information Officer of the District Election Office, Dolakha, said that the number of female voters in the district is higher. According to him, there are 3,000 more female voters than male voters. Similarly, one polling station has been added to the existing 94 polling stations. He said that Kunda Primary School in Shailung Rural Municipality-1 of the district has been added as a new polling station. 

Similarly, 12 more polling stations have been added to the existing 195 polling stations, bringing the total to 207 polling stations, he said. He said that the polling stations have been added to facilitate the voters. He said that the new polling stations have been added due to geographical remoteness. 

Preparations have also been started to purchase necessary materials for the election. Similarly, he said that all the details of the polling stations and polling stations have been submitted to the District Security Committee and monitoring is underway.
