Warm clothes have been distributed to 250 senior citizens of Banepa Municipality.

On the occasion of National Senior Citizens Day on Friday, 250 people aged 80-81 from Banepa 1 to 14 were honored. 

On the occasion of the 5th National Senior Citizens Day, they were honored by distributing Tanna and Sirak on Friday. 

Deputy Mayor of Banepa Municipality Bimala Sapkota Dahal said that senior citizens at this age feel lonely and need special care. For that, she said that the municipality has launched a campaign to build senior citizen meeting centers and senior citizen rest areas.
