'IT Meet 2025' has been organized at Kathmandu University. It was informed at a press conference held on Tuesday that the meet was organized by the Kathmandu University Computer Club, which is run under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Kathmandu University.
The club, which has been playing a leading role in the development of information technology and education in Nepal for two and a half decades, has been organizing the meet to promote the latest in technology, collaboration and skill development. Accordingly, the club's vice-president Kiran Dahal informed that this year too, it was organized. According to him, the club has been providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their technical capabilities, leadership and creativity. He said that the IT meet, which will be held from 8 to 11 December with the main slogan of Connect, Computer, Create, will include more than 15 different programs. The meet will have pre-events such as 'Empower Her', 'We Shield Cyber', 'Gaming Events', 'Idea Pitching' and various exhibition and post-event programs, he said. The main program of the meet will be an exhibition of hardware and software made by students at the project exhibition on 11 December. More than 11 companies will have stalls at the career fair, where students will get employment opportunities and the opportunity to network. There are various programs including a panel discussion and an 'IT Quiz' under the title 'The AI Wave: Illusion or Innovation'.
