Makawanpur Police have arrested two youths from Indrasarobar Rural Municipality with drugs. The arrested have been identified as Sheikh Mahful Alam, 23, of Paroha Municipality-6, Rautahat, and Shahil Sheikh, 20, of the same place.
Police deployed from the Khanikhet Police Post in Simkhola, Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-2, located on the Hetauda-Kulekhani-Kathmandu road section, stopped and checked a motorcycle (Ba 51 Pa 2209) heading from Hetauda to Kathmandu and seized 200 pieces of Nitrozepam hidden in a plastic bag under the motorcycle seat.
The police have taken the motorcycle driver Alam and the rider Sheikh, who was riding behind the motorcycle, into custody along with the drugs and are conducting further investigation for legal action.
