Police have arrested two people with an undisclosed amount of Rs 2 million. They were arrested from Bhimeshwor Municipality-7, Dolakha.
Ramchandra Sharma of Sundarbazar Municipality-2 in Lamjung and Sher Bahadur Raut of Mechinagar Municipality-7 in Jhapa were arrested on Friday afternoon with Rs 1.992 million of undisclosed source, said Dolakha Police Inspector Shreeram Timalsina. According to him, the money was found during a search while they were carrying suspicious items in their bags, and the police said they were taken into custody after the source of the money could not be revealed. Police said that further investigation is underway on both the arrested persons.
