Makawanpur police have arrested two youths with marijuana. The police have arrested 19-year-old Nissan Chepang of Rapti Municipality-12 in Chitwan and 18-year-old Sagar Chepang of the same place.
The Na.6.Kh.1617 passenger bus going from Chitwan to Birgunj was stopped and checked by the police at the Ratomate check post in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-15, and 11 kg 130 grams of marijuana was seized from the bag carried by the Chepang duo, said Pushkar Bogati, Deputy Superintendent of Police and spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur.
The marijuana was hidden in the bag after being packed in plastic. The District Police Office, Makawanpur had seized 6,04 kg of marijuana in the last fiscal year. 289 people were arrested on charges of drug trafficking and dealing.
