Two laborers were killed and 19 others were injured in a tractor accident on the fast track under Bakaiya Rural Municipality-7 on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased have been identified as Keshav Lal Majhi and Santalal Majhi.

There were 21 people on the tractor while returning to work after having lunch. The tractor met with an accident while it was heading towards the fast track in Adheri. The accident occurred when the tractor trolley overturned. Local Ramlal Majhi said that the Majhi duo died on the way while being taken to Hetauda Hospital for treatment. Police have informed that 2 of the 21 people on board have died and 6 of the 19 injured are being treated at Hetauda Hospital and 13 at Churehill Hospital. Hospital sources say that the condition of three of the injured is critical.
