Further investigation has been initiated after obtaining remand from the Makawanpur District Court against six people arrested with narcotics from different locations in Hetauda.

Makawanpur police have arrested six people with brown heroin from different places in the district.
Police have arrested three people with brown heroin from an EV vehicle (numbered Bagmati Province 01-006 Ja 7983) coming towards Hetauda on the East-West road section in Ratomate, Hetauda-15.
Of those arrested, 1 gram 620 milligrams of brown heroin was found with Karna Gurung, 28, of Rapti Municipality-8, Chitwan. Similarly, police have arrested Santosh Ale Magar, 27, of Hetauda-12, and Sanukancha Rai, 30, of Manahari Rural Municipality-3 from an EV vehicle (numbered Bagmati Province 06-001 Ja 0441). 480 milligrams of brown heroin was found with them, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur.
Police have arrested two people while they were bringing brown heroin on a motorcycle from Ratomate. The driver of the motorcycle bearing number M.P.03-031 Pa 6990, 21, of Birgunj Metropolitan City 31, Parsa, and the rider of the motorcycle, 23-year-old Neeraj Chaudhary, 23, of the same place, were arrested.
During a search on suspicion, 160 milligrams of brown heroin was found hidden inside their shoes, informed the acting spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur, Police Inspector Raju Prasad Kurmi.
Similarly, the Makawanpur police have arrested one person with brown heroin from Sanopokhara, Hetauda-5. The arrested person is Samit Thapa Magar, 22, of Triveni, Hetauda-9. 24 packets of brown heroin were found with Magar. The quantity of the brown heroin is 4 grams, 270 milligrams, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur. The motorcycle with registration number Na 23 Pa 434 used by Magar has also been taken into custody.
Further investigation has been initiated by obtaining time-limit permission from the District Court, Makawanpur, against the six people arrested with drugs from separate locations, said Acting Spokesperson Kurmi.
