Sudeep Khatri, 18, of Nepalgunj, dies
According to the Area Police Office, Banepa, a motorcyclist died after colliding with a tipper parked at the IT Park in Ward No. 5 of Panauti Municipality.
According to the office's chief, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwor Twati, at 10 pm on Wednesday, a motorcycle (B.P.R.02-017 P.0406) heading from Banepa to Panauti collided with a tipper (B.P.R.01-006 Kha 2217) heading from Banepa to Panauti at the IT Park under the Banepa-Panauti road section.
The motorcycle then rammed into a tipper (B.P.R.01-006 Kha 2217) heading from Banepa to Panauti, seriously injuring the motorcycle driver, 18-year-old Sudip Khatri.
Khatri, who has a permanent residence in Nepalgunj, was taken to Shir Memorial Hospital in Banepa for treatment, but the doctor declared him dead on Wednesday night, according to information received from the hospital.
The Area Police Office, Banepa has taken both tipper drivers into custody and is conducting necessary investigations, according to the police.
