For the House of Representatives elections to be held on February 21, the Nepali Congress has directly recommended Baburaja Joshi from Bhaktapur Constituency No. 1. Joshi was previously in the election competition from the same constituency in the 2079 BS elections against Nepal Workers and Peasants Party candidate Prem Suwal.
Similarly, former Bagmati Province Minister Krishnalal Bhandel, central member Gangalaxmi Awal, and general convention representative Purushottam Lamichhane have been recommended for the proportional representation from the tribal quota in the same region.
Nepali Congress District Working Committee Secretary Sushil Basnet gave this information and said that the regional working committee meeting is ongoing to recommend names in Constituency No. 2.
