Upgradation has begun in the Pul Bazaar area of the Suryabinayak-Dhulikhel section along the Araniko Highway.
The expansion of the Sanga-Dhulikhel section of the Suryabinayak-Dhulikhel road had been stalled for one and a half years. The landowners along the road had not allowed the work to be done at the midpoint of the Pulbazar area.
According to Bijay Kumar Mahato, head of the Suryabinayak-Dhulikhel road project, 60 percent of the work has been completed on the Sanga-Dhulikhel section and 45 percent on the Suryabinayak-Sanga section. Six houses in some places on this section remain to be demolished.
