Amidst the bitter cold, an organization called 'Helping Hands' has provided warm clothes and educational materials to children from various remote schools in the district. A total of 118 students and the elderly from seven schools in Balefi, Bhotekoshi and Bahrabise areas have been provided with warm clothes by the organization.

School uniforms and stationery have been distributed to 27 children of Karangaira Basic School in Balefi Rural Municipality and sweaters, caps and stationery have been distributed to 28 children of Seema Singh Basic School.

Similarly, 25 students of Bhumeshwori Basic School in Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-1, Chyamanasa Sebung have been provided with school uniforms, sweaters, caps and stationery. 6 students of Ugrachandi Secondary School, Listi have also been provided with sweaters, caps and stationery.

12 children of Gorakhnath Basic School in Mandra, Bahrabise-6 received school uniforms and stationery, while the elderly in the same area received jackets and warm clothes. 11 children of Dharpa Narayan Basic School in Bahrabise-3 and 9 children of Mangala Devi Basic School in Durumathali, Bahrabise-2 have also been distributed with school uniforms and stationery.

‘In addition, we will continue this campaign in 7 more basic and secondary schools in the coming days and support underprivileged children,’ said Vikesh Lama, a representative of the organization. The campaign, which was started by ‘Sahyogi Haatharu’ in 2078 BS, was officially registered in 2080 BS and brought into operation institutionally.
