Khuili Dom, 55, a resident of Naguwa, Birgunj Metropolitan City-16, Parsa, and currently residing in Karra, Hetauda-10, died when she was hit by a motorcycle bearing the registration number Na.38Pa 5850 while coming from Pashupatinagar in Hetauda towards Hetauda Bazaar along the East-West Highway.
Dom was on her way to her room from the roadside when the motorcycle hit her. Police have stated that she died on the spot due to the motorcycle collision.
The motorcycle and its driver, Sunil Thakur, 25, of Simrangad Municipality-11, Bara, have been taken into police custody, said Puskar Bogati, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur. Dom's body has been kept at the Hetauda Hospital.
