According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, the police have arrested 75 people from various places in Makawanpur who escaped from the Central Prison in Kathmandu, Nakkhu Prison, Bharatpur, Kaski, Tanahun and other prisons. They are also being kept in the Bhimphedi Prison. Currently, there are 952 prisoners in the Bhimphedi Prison. Before the prison break, there were 1,066 prisoners in the Bhimphedi Prison.

8 children still absconding from the juvenile correctional home

72 children escaped from the juvenile correctional home in Thanabharyang, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-11 on the morning of Bhadra 25.
