A Bolero vehicle has been damaged after sinking in the Bagmati River in Makawanpur.

The vehicle bearing registration number B.P.R.01-028 Cha 7194 drowned while crossing the river on the inner road of Sisneri in Khursanibari, Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3. 

While crossing the Bagmati River from Lalitpur, the rear wheel of the vehicle skidded on a rock and fell into the river. The driver is safe, police have said. 

The police and locals have pulled the vehicle out of the river. The vehicle's wheel hit a rock due to the white ice that had accumulated in the Bagmati River.
