The resignation of Bagmati Provincial Assembly Speaker Bhuwan Kumar Pathak has been accepted.

The Provincial Assembly Secretariat issued a notice on Thursday, informing that Speaker Pathak had resigned on Bhadra 1. Speaker Pathak had resigned from the post by addressing Deputy Speaker Apsara Chapagain. 

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly from the RPP through the proportional representation system. Speaker Pathak's resignation was accepted from the date of his resignation and the Provincial Assembly was not functioning, according to Provincial Assembly Secretary Ram Kumar Poudel.
