Two people died and four were injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Dudhauli Municipality-4, Laxmipur on the Madan Bhandari Highway. The condition of one of the injured is critical, according to police.
Ram Kumar Kumar, 34, and Phulbabu Dhami, 25, of Dudhauli Municipality-11, Tandi, and Area Police Office Dakaha Chief Police Inspector Sapana Khadka informed that the motorcycle riders died in the accident that occurred when a truck (No. Pr. 1-02-002) heading towards Dudhauli from Bhiman collided with two motorcycles (No. Pr. 2-001 Pa 4142 and M. Pr. 02-006 Pa 5841) coming from the opposite direction.
The injured Biplav Dhami, Buddhi Tharu, Sunil Majhi and Kushe Dhami have been sent to Biratnagar for further treatment after receiving primary treatment at Dudhauli Nagar Hospital. Police have taken the truck driver, Sher Bahadur Bista of Dhankuta, into custody. Three people were riding on the motorcycle.
