Bohara died when the bus hit him while he was crossing the road on Saturday night, said Puskar Bogati, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur.
The bus that hit the pedestrian and the bus driver, 33-year-old Sujay Kumar Singh of Ramgopalpur, Mahottari, have been taken into custody by the police. The passengers of the bus have been sent to their destination in another bus, according to the police.
