One person has died and another has been injured in a tipper accident in Mandandeupur, Kavre. On Wednesday morning, a tipper (Ba 5 Kha 4072) fell about 60 meters from the road at Kodari Bhir in Mandandeupur Municipality Ward No. 6, Kavrepalanchok, and caught fire, said DSP Rabin Bista, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Kavre.
According to DSP Bista, the deceased has been identified as Kisim Rai, aged 28, of Jhagarpur, Ward No. 07, Mandandeupur Municipality, Kavre. His body was found in a burnt condition.
Similarly, the co-driver of the vehicle, Bikram Rai, aged 22, of Ward No. 07, Mandandeupur Municipality, Kavre, was injured in the accident. After receiving primary treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital, he was referred to Kirtipur Burn Hospital for further treatment, according to the police.
