Vehicles have started moving along Kantilok Path after clearing away the rubble that had fallen on the road.
The road was blocked after large stones fell from the road in Ghattepakha, Bakaiya Rural Municipality-11, Makawanpur. The road was blocked after a landslide on Sunday morning.
Upon receiving information about the landslide, a team from the temporary police post Jitpur, Makawanpur, reached the spot and removed the road obstruction with the help of locals and using machines.
After the road was opened, vehicles stopped on both sides have moved towards their destinations, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur. Similarly, work is underway to remove the landslide that fell in Jyamire on the Sisneri-Dakshinkali road section.
In Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3, Jyamire, a landslide fell from the road on Saturday evening, blocking the Kulekhani-Sisneri-Dakshinkali road. Puskar Bogati, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur, said that the landslide removal work has been going on since Sunday morning. The work is being done to remove the landslide using dozers.
