Tourists trekking in the Chho-Rolpa and Rolwaling areas have been affected by snowfall. The tourists who had reached the area have been stranded in Na and Beding since Monday afternoon after snowfall.

Local Dawa Tshering Sherpa said that there is continuous snowfall in Chho-Rolpa and Na villages. He said that tourists who had visited Chho-Rolpa have come to Na village after the snowfall. Most of the tourists are in Na. Some have come to Beding. They have been urged to take precautions due to the snowfall, he said.

Despite the snowfall, life in the area is normal, he said. Most of the locals are indoors due to the snowfall.

Similarly, the administration has urged tourists who have set out on a trek to take precautions as snowfall is also taking place in Lapchi, which borders China. The locals of Lapchi have already gone to Lumnang due to the increasing cold.
