A double restaurant in Narayangadh has been damaged due to an electrical short circuit. Chitwan Police have informed that a fire broke out at the Chitwan Double Restaurant located at Lions Chowk Oralo in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-3 early on Monday morning.
Suman Bharti, a resident of Bharatpur-2 Kshetrapur, runs a double restaurant in Yubaraj Adhikari's house. Chitwan Police Spokesperson DSP Rabindra Khanal said that the fire broke out due to an electrical short circuit in the hall of the restaurant. Three fire engines from Bharatpur, Khairhani and the Nepal Army brought the fire under control after 5 am.
Although there was no human casualty, the fire may have caused a loss of property worth around 2.5-3 million rupees, DSP Khanal said.
