According to the Chitwan District Police Office, a young man died in a motorcycle accident in Khairhani, eastern Chitwan on Tuesday night. The incident took place at midnight on the road inside Khairhani Municipality-2.
Police reached the rescue operation based on information that the motorcycle (number plate 03-005 Pa4302, Bagmati Province) had overturned. The motorcycle rider, who was seriously injured in the accident, was sent to the Bharatpur government hospital for treatment, but the doctor declared him dead at 1:15 am, said DSP Rabindra Khanal, spokesperson for the District Police Office. The name and surname of the young man, who is estimated to be 22/23 years old, have not been released.
The motorcycle rider died on Sunday night after hitting a gas bullet parked on the highway in Khairhani-2.
