Two people, aged 28 and 25, died in a scooter accident in Bharatpur on Monday night.
According to the District Police Office, a scooter bearing the registration number Ba Pra 06-003 Pa 0692 overturned uncontrollably near the Bharatpur Metropolitan City-10 Airport at 2 pm on Monday.
The driver, Sandeep Ghimire, 25, of Bharatpur-21, and the passenger, Kushal Aryal, 28, of Bharatpur-21, who was sitting behind him, died due to head injuries, Chitwan Police Spokesperson DSP Rabindra Khanal said. Both of them, who were seriously injured, died at 2:35 pm while undergoing treatment at the Bharatpur Government Hospital, he said.
A youth from Khairhani died in a motorcycle accident in Chitwan on Sunday night.
