The District Administration Office, Bhaktapur, has destroyed 165 kg of inedible sweets after monitoring a sweet shop targeted for Tihar.
Yadav Mishra, a member of the monitoring committee, informed that 165 kg of sweets were destroyed after monitoring 4 sweet shops in Kamalbinayak, Bhaktapur on Monday under the leadership of the District Administration Office, Bhaktapur, along with the Food Technology and Quality Control Department.
According to him, the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control brought a food testing vehicle and tested it, and it confirmed that the food sweets were adulterated with inedible substances.
