According to Deputy Controller of Police Upendra Pokharel, 95 percent of the answer sheets of students who took the exam on various dates from the Nepal Banepa Polytechnic School Examination Center kept in the Area Police Banepa are safe. The school had examination centers for 5 educational institutions including Kavre Health Educational Institution, Jagriti Secondary School, Nepal Banepa Polytechnic School, Seti Devi Secondary School and Technical and Vocational Educational Institution.
The council had conducted the exam from 26th of July to 25th of August. Some exams were also postponed due to the situation after 23rd of August. Deputy Controller Pokharel said that the answer sheets kept at the police station for security were found burnt in arson and some of the seals were broken. According to him, the council has decided to re-conduct the exam for the subjects that were burnt and the seals were broken. ‘The re-examination of those subjects will be held from Mangsir 4,’ he said, ‘The council is preparing for that, the examination schedule will be made public in a few days.’
