With the opening of a 600 meter track under the BP highway towards Sindhuli in the Nepalthok-Dhulikhel section, traffic from Nepalthok to Baluwa has started.
With the construction of the Nepalthok-Barkhekhola track, traffic has been operating towards Sindhuli since Thursday, Divisional Road Office Khalte said. The track was opened four days ago by diverting Roshi Khola to the east.
Roshi Khola was diverted by taking an excavator from the road division office and the track was temporarily opened. For this, stones, pebbles, and sand from the river have been used by Roshi. According to Parasmani Hamal, Head of Divisional Road Office, Khalte, once this track is opened, traffic will continue till Mamti in Kavre.
Three sections of Dhulikhel, Sindhuli Bardibas road of BP highway are in operation. Hamal said that 110 kilometers of the road is still operating, but reconstruction work is being done on 50 kilometers of it.
Temporary road construction has also started from Chowkidanda in Kavre.
