20 people were injured in a bus accident on Jiri-Khadichour road section of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-7 Panchkilo in the district on Tuesday afternoon.
According to District Police Sindhupalchok, the passenger bus No. B.P.03-001 B 2521 coming from Ramechhap to Kathmandu via Charikot, crashed into the wall of the road. "After receiving information about the accident, a seven-member traffic team under the command of police sub-inspector Ashok Mahato was deployed from Lamosanghu police station," District Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhavraj Kharel said. The
team rescued 20 injured people including the driver and three children and sent them to Sindhu Sadawahar Hospital Khadichaur for treatment.
The condition of all the injured is normal, police said.
