The local bodies said that due to the failure of the General Account server, the salaries of teachers, employees, social security allowances, development and other works could not be paid.
Due to the 'server down' of the payment system of the General Accounts, there has been an interruption in the work of the local levels of Sindhuli including salaries, social security, development expenses.
According to the local authorities, the problem is that the speed of the software payment system of the General Accounts is slow and keeps coming and going. Since the software is not running during office hours, there is a problem in payment because people are coming even when it is running in the morning and evening. As the local accumulated fund management system is done by the General Accountant, the center should make it as soon as possible, according to the local level accounting department.
Accounts Officer of Kamalamai Municipality, Tekendra Kumar Karki, said that about 220 crores to be paid, the payment of teachers, employees' salaries, social security allowances, development and other works could not be made due to the failure of the General Account's server. "It's the second day of Navratri, nobody has been able to pay," he said, "even if you run the net for 24 hours in the burnt office, the software still shows problems." "It has been decided that it will be possible only if the salary and social security can be paid, but it doesn't seem like there will be a solution," said officer Karki.
Even though all salary seats were fixed, they could not be distributed due to technical problems, said Lekh Bahadur Basnet, headmaster of Golanjor Rural Municipality. "As soon as the municipality deposited the money in the school's account, we would send the money to the teacher's and staff's accounts," he said.
Dudhauli Municipality, Tinpatan, Sunkoshi, Marin, Hariharpurgarhi, Fikkal and Gyanglekh Rural Municipality are also in the same situation. The elderly people used to go to the bank everyday to get social security allowance and return empty-handed. Kamalamai Municipality office was burnt during the Zen-G movement.
