A teenager from Vishrampur of Vrindavan Municipality-3 of Rautahat was found dead on Tuesday. 13-year-old Roshan Yadav of Bishrampur went missing while taking a bath in the Bagmati river on Monday while participating in the Durga Puja procession.

Police said that his body was found on Tuesday. 

Nepal Police, Armed Police and locals searched for Roshan after he disappeared after being swept away by the Bagmati River. The body of Rashan was found about one kilometer south of Samanpur bridge on Tuesday, according to the area police office Garuda. 

The deceased is the son of police constable Gajendra Yadav working at Roshan District Police Office Bara. The water level in Bagmati has increased due to the rains that have been falling for a few days.
