A young man has gone missing after being swept away by the river while going fishing. 18-year-old Som Bahadur Glan of Bagmati Rural Municipality-1 Majhgaon of Makwanpur was swept away by the river and disappeared.

48-year-old father Gunjman Glan and son Som Bahadur went fishing in Bagmati on Wednesday afternoon. 

Shyamu Aryal, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of Makwanpur District Police Office, said that Som Bahadur was swept away by the Bagmati while fishing. He was swept away by a sudden flood in Bagmati while he was fishing. 

Police, local residents and his relatives are searching for Glan in Bagmati river.
