The ATM machine of Machhapuchhre Bank in Bharatpur's Malpot office was vandalized by protesters after the arson. The cargo office has been damaged due to the fire not being able to start the service immediately . Important records have been erased. In this way, the arsonist also targeted the ATM.

In the incident that took place on August 24, the police took the ATM under their control. DSP Ravindra Khanal, spokesperson of Chitwan District Police Office, said that the ATM was opened on the 27th of Machhapuchhre Bank's representative, police and local people's representatives. 17 lakh 79 thousand rupees were found in the ATM. DSP Khanal said that the amount was handed over to the bank's representative on August 27.
