Two people were seriously injured in a motorcycle accident involving four people in Chitwan on Tuesday midnight. The accident took place at Padampur Bankatta, Kalika municipality-3 around 12:50 pm.
DSP Rabindra Khanal, spokesperson of District Police Office Chitwan informed that a motorcycle with number 1910 No. 54 P 1910 went out of control on the inner road and got into an accident.
In the accident, three youths living in Kalika-5 and one woman, whose address is not disclosed, were injured. The condition of two injured including a woman is serious.
DSP Khanal informed that one person was moderately injured and one was slightly injured. According to the police, the condition of 27-year-old Anish Mahatay of Kalika-5 is critical. He has a head injury.
Anish, who is unable to speak, is being treated at the Chitwan Medical College (CMC) teaching hospital in Bharatpur. A seriously injured woman aged 25/26 is also being treated at Saehi Hospital.
28-year-old motorcyclist Krishna Mardaniya, who suffered minor injuries on his arms and legs, is also being treated at CMC. According to the police, 26-year-old Sameer Mahatayka, who was moderately injured with cuts on his hands and feet, is being treated at Elave Hospital in Bharatpur.
'There are four people sitting on the same motorcycle. The work of searching for other matters is going on, said DSP Khanal.
