A person involved in the dollar scandal was arrested on Thursday through the joint operation of Dolakha District and Area Police Office Bahrbise. According to Police Inspector Sumesh Pandey of Area Police Bahrbise, the arrested person is Bishnu Bhandari of Bahrbise Municipality-3 Dharpa.

During the chase in the forest, there was a scuffle between security personnel and Bhandari, which even local residents gathered there to watch. According to the police, another young man involved in the dollar exchange incident managed to escape. He escaped by jumping into the Bhotekosi river.

8 security personnel including 12 local police officers were mobilized in this incident. The police said that the search for the absconding youth is continuing.
