The body of the missing youth was found in Dumrekuna, Makwanpurgadhi rural municipality-6 after being swept away by the river. 25-year-old Vinod Bomjan of Makwanpurgadhi rural municipality-2 of Makwanpur was swept away by the local Karki river at 3.30 pm on Friday.

While going home from the shop, Bomjan was washed away while crossing the river. As soon as they got the information about Bomjan's disappearance, the police team led by Police Inspector Rayamazhi reached the spot and searched.
There was heavy rain in various parts of Makwanpur including Hetaunda on Friday afternoon. Due to the rain, there was flooding in the local creeks and rivers.
