Small vehicles have started to pass through the Beilibridge constructed in the Simkhola under the Kulekhani hydropower project dam.

Naveen Singh, Head of Transport Infrastructure Directorate, Hetaunda, said that vehicles weighing up to 6 tons have been allowed to pass through the bridge. According to him, heavy vehicles have been banned.

After completing all the work in 40 days, the vehicle has been started to operate. On the Bhainse-Bhimphedi road section, 2 balibridges which were not in use were removed and installed in Simkhola. 30 technicians and workers were employed for this.

Beilibridge was built because the right and left side of the bridge, i.e. the access road, was washed away. Gaurav Engineers Pvt.

After the Kulekhani was filled with heavy rain on October 11 and 12, when the gate was opened to prevent 'overflow', the road along with the Simkhola bridge in the lower part of the Kulekhani Dam located in Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-2 was damaged. Traffic was diverted from the river until Ballybridge operation came.
