Makwanpur police have arrested four people who cheated on fake gold.

Among those arrested are 34-year-old Kishore Lama Gole of Makwanpurgarhi Rural Municipality-2, 45-year-old Surya Bahadur Negi of Bakaiya Rural Municipality-8, 44-year-old Setelal Gongwa and Nuwakot Kispang Rural Municipality-1 of Valcheka. 48  His name is Namkel Tamang. The police arrested the four from a house in Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-11 Sukumwasi toll Trivenichowk. According to the police, they have been staying in rented rooms. The police recovered 50 pieces of gold-looking yellow metal with PAMP written on it from the room.

Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesman of District Police Office Makwanpur Shyamu Aryal said that one piece of recovered metal was only 10 grams of gold and the other 49 pieces were fake. The police said that they have sent a 10-gram piece of gold to the Revenue Investigation Office Pathalaiya for further investigation and action, and they have detained them in connection with 49 pieces of yellow metal and are conducting investigation by taking a time-limit permit from the Makwanpur District Court Hetounda in the fraud industry offense case.
