Writer Prem Vinod Nandan passed away. Nandan was born in Bandipur, Tanahun in May 1992. He migrated and lived in Narayangadh.

 

He passed away during treatment at Chitwan Medical College Teaching Hospital in Bharatpur at around 9:30 pm on Sunday night, member secretary of Bharatpur Mahanagara Pragya Pratishthan and writer Balkrishna Thapalia informed.

Active in Chitwan since 2015, Nandan's song collection 'Jhataro' was released in 2011. The composition written by Nandan was also among the top 10 national anthems. Nandan was active in writing songs, ghazals and poems.

After the opening of FM radio in Bharatpur, the ghazal program "Anurag" conducted by Synergy FM with him on "Ghazalma Dohri" increased the atmosphere of ghazal in Chitwan area . Nandan, who has published four song collections, one short poem and one poetry collection including

Jhataro, is also included in Nepali movies. Nandan was called 'Gol Simal' of Nepali literature by national poet Madhav Ghimire.

Nandan Chinnalata, who has led Chitwan's old cultural institution Narayani Kalamandir and dozens of literary associations, is honored with awards and honors including Song Award, Narayani Pragya Award.
