Makwanpur police arrested an Indian citizen with illegal silver jewellery. 52-year-old Chandilal Sah from Motihari, India was arrested with silver jewellery.
Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson Shyamu Aryal of District Police Office Makwanpur said that Sah was arrested on Monday from Hetaunda Sub-Metropolitan City-10 Bus Park along with silver jewelery worth Rs 1 lakh 58 thousand 332.
When the police got suspicious and searched the bag he was carrying, they found illegal silver jewelry brought by evading customs .
District Police Office Makwanpur said that Sah was taken into custody and sent to the Revenue Investigation Office, Pathalaiya Bara for necessary action and investigation.
