The local level of Kavrepalanchok has started providing services to its citizens who left the village and live in the city through camps. Chowrideurali Rural Municipality has prepared to run a camp for its citizens living in Kathmandu, while Temal Rural Municipality provided essential services to those living in the city through the camp in the third week of July.
In particular, arrangements have been made for the distribution of social security allowances and the renewal of identity cards, according to the rural municipality. Chowrideurali has published a public notice and said that it will serve at various locations in Kathmandu from today. It is said that the service days will be publicized through the camp for about a week and the date and ward number will be mentioned in the schedule and the citizens of that ward will be served.
Earlier in the third week of July, Temal Rural Municipality of the district had provided services to the citizens living in Kathmandu Valley and other cities by leaving the village in the third week of July through mobile camps. The rural municipality has conducted camps especially in the places where its citizens live and distributed and renewed social security allowances. According to the rural municipality, services were provided to 591 citizens who received social security allowance from the one-week camp.
Rural Municipality Chairman Chandra Bahadur Lama said that the work of providing services to the citizens of the rural municipality will be continued and plans are being made to make these latest programs more effective. Stating that it has helped in updating the records, the rural municipality said that those living in cities including the valley will now be freed from the obligation to go to the village to receive social security allowance.
