After completing the reconstruction work, Mandu Hydropower has resumed electricity production from Tuesday. In the first phase, only 50 percent of the capacity has been produced. The power generation capacity of Mandu Hydropower is 22 MW.

"We are producing 11 megawatts of electricity in the first phase after completing the reconstruction work," said Manoj Singh, senior technician of Mandu Hydropower. A team consisting of Nepali technicians and workers did the technical and physical works of hydropower. More than 60 Nepali technicians and laborers were employed in the reconstruction work.
