Deepak Prasad Devkota, the chief of Bagmati Province, has become unwell. Due to a sudden problem with his health, the swearing-in program of the newly appointed ministers scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed.
Devkota, the head of the province, left for Kathmandu this morning for treatment. The office of the head of state said that the program has been postponed.
Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama on Wednesday recommended the provincial assembly members Gobind Lamsal as the Minister of Internal Affairs and Law, Maya Shrestha as the Minister of Youth and Sports and Geeta Gurung as the Minister of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation and recommended them to the provincial head for oath.
