The police have arrested two people involved in making forged documents. Those arrested are 41-year-old Kiran Aryal of Gorkha Shaheed Lakhan Rural Municipality-1 and 38-year-old Jitendra Tamang of Dhulikhel Municipality-12 of Kavrepalanchok.
The police have found out that Aryal used to make fake documents by using Gajjab's Photo Copy and Stationery Center in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31, Shankhamul and sold and distributed those documents through Tamang. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Meen Bahadur Ghale, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Kavre, the office informed the police after the document submitted by Tamang at the ward office of Dhulikhel Municipality-12 was suspicious. He said that the police investigation confirmed that it was a fake document.
It has been found that they forged the letter pad of the ward office of Dhulikhel-12, the stamp and signature of the ward president. Seals of 26 organizations, documents, Nepali cash of different rates, 68 thousand 770 rupees, 14 notes of different countries, 2 citizenships, passports, 11 pen drives, 2 hard drives and other materials have also been seized from them.
The District Police Office Kavre has registered a case of document-related offense (forging government seal signatures) and taking five days more permission from the District Court Kavrepalanchok to investigate them.
