The Central Consumer Committee of Chitwan National Park has built a memorial in memory and honor of those who lost their lives due to attacks by wild animals.

32 people from Ayodhyapuri have lost their lives due to attacks by wild animals during the 27 years since the center was formed. 2,200 households of the then Ayodhyapuri borough and part of Ward No. 7 of Madi Municipality and the whole of Ward 8 and 9 are included in the Ayodhyapuri Consumer Committee.

Forest Minister of Bagmati Province Krishna Silwal inaugurated the memorial on Sunday. On the occasion, he also honored the family members of those who lost their lives due to wild animals with cash.
