Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama (Tamang) has dismissed four ministers of Bagmati province without accepting their resignations.

Lama said that Article 169 of the Constitution of Nepal 2072  According to (2) (b), four ministers were dismissed. Minister of Internal Affairs and Law of Bagmati Province Government Surajchandra Lamichhane, Minister of Youth and Sports Minkrishna Maharjan,  Culture and Tourism Minister Bimal Thakuri and Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation Minister Madukumar Shrestha resigned on Friday afternoon . 

4 ministers from the Congress have resigned for the process of removing Lama as the leader of the parliamentary party and appointing Indra Bahadur Baniyan as the new chief minister. 21 Congress MPs have signed a motion of no confidence in the parliamentary party against Lama. For this, 21 members of the Congress parliamentary party, which has 37 MPs, have already signed.
