One person was killed due to a knife attack in the Madhuganga Mahadev Temple complex located in Dudhauli Municipality-2 of Sindhuli.

On Monday mid-day, a dispute broke out when more than 10 pilgrims were staying in a house on the hill near the temple.

According to Sindhuli police chief SP Laldhwaj Subedi, a pilgrim died when he was stabbed during a fight. The identity of the deceased has not been released. According to the police, his age appears to be around 30 years. The body has been brought to Sindhuli Hospital for post-mortem.

During the fight, some of the pilgrims shouted and fought. The stabbers ran away towards the forest when they found the needle coming from the locals. The police have claimed that they are still searching for those involved in the murder.
